So we finally made it here. 22 plus hours in a car. If I never have to get in a car again that is fine with me. I am so glad to finally be here. It is so beautiful. It is hard to believe that I get to live here. I look out the window of the hotel and see mountains. So pretty.
I move in to my apartment tomorrow. My mom keeps asking me if I am nervous... but I really am not. I feel like I should have that giddy, excited, first time on my own, freshman in college feeling but I just feel like regular old me. Don't get me wrong I am excited but not that over the top, OMG, I can't wait till tomorrow feeling.
I was going to take a picture at the border of Utah but I just decided to keep going because I just wanted to get here already. Today was undoubtedly the longest day of my life.
Tomorrow should be interesting. Seeing as I requested a second floor apartment, and brought 2 totes that weigh over 70 pounds each. Haha.
Also, people here drive SO SLOW! Like really. The speed limit is 75! Why on earth are you driving 60? GET. OUT. OF. THE. WAY.
Okay... well that is really all I have to say. I kind of just want to go to sleep. Driving really does wear you out.
