Brace yourself!!! I love snow!

Okay, yes it is Saturday night and I just got back from taking a walk in the snow by myself. Don't judge me. Anyhow, if you knew me well less than about a week ago, and especially if you knew me when I still lived in Texas you would think that I have been brainwashed or lost my mind, (the latter of the two is still up for debate) but I assure you I have not... and I have recently come to a revelation. I LOVE snow. Yes, I know... crazy.
The girl who has hated winter her whole life now loves it after just a few days... but I assure you it is different up here. Back home in Texas there was a big ice storm, and that just got me to thinking... the only reason that I thought I hated snow is because I have never seen it before. We don't get snow. We get ice, and yes I do hate that. Its cold, and it gets everything sopping wet, and it is just down right miserable.
I saw real snow for the first time the other day and yeah I still thought that it was pretty despicable, but once I actually got outside, I found out that it wasn't so bad. Then it all started to melt and I was surprised at how much I missed it, but don't worry, it snowed again today. Basically all day. I went outside and played in it and made a snowman with Paisley and Rachelle. By the way, it is a ton harder than it looks in movies to make a real snowman. At first I was in charge of the body, but then I could barley even make a snow ball, so I then was put in charge of the head, which is why it is kind of not circular.

The main thing that I noticed about snow is that it isn't as cold as ice, and it doesn't make everything soaking wet. I knelt down in the snow and my pants were barley wet. When I moved out here I told myself that I would not like the winter, and I know I am in for a treat because it is just getting started and I shouldn't make up my mind just yet, but as of now I love winter and I love snow. Judge me. It is so pretty. Back home in Texas during the winter everything is just dead. Here everything is dead, but it is all covered in white, glittery, powdery blissfulness.
I happen to be home by myself tonight, and although I am feeling much better I am still not feeling 100% so I didn't really feel like being around a bunch of people so I decided to take a walk. I just put on leggings, pants, extra warm socks, a long sleeve shirt, a jacket, a coat, mittens, a hat, and boots and went outside. Okay just because I like it doesn't mean I am wind proof. Anywho, I walked around my apartment complex and I walked between 2 of the buildings and I guess because of the wind the snow was literally up to my knees. That was an experience, but I loved it. I don't understand how anyone who has actually seen real snow can hate it. You would have to be crazy. I did take one picture of our parking lot thing but then I heard the neighbors door open and I thought they would think I was crazy if they saw me just taking pictures of nothing so I stopped. The one that I got is a little blurry though. This is after its been down for a while and people have drove on it and a truck came around and shoveled.
