So last night the kids stayed the night. We made our own pizzas and they had a blast. We watched a couple movies and then they went to sleep. This morning we took them home and I got to see my cousin Marcus for the last time. Even though he is my cousin Jennifer's boyfriend he is definitely at the top of my list of favorite cousins. Don't get me wrong, I love the rest of them too but he is very special to me. I know I can trust him and I know that he would stick up for me in a heartbeat.
Also, yesterday and today we did a ton of shopping. I never realized exactly how much stuff it takes to survive... well how much stuff it takes to at least live a semi comfortable life. Our living room is literally packed to the brim with stuff that I have to take with me, and I am still not done. I have few things that I have to get once we get there. My car is already going to be packed.
I have been looking for jeans that fit the way I want them to for a good 3 weeks. I am very specific about my jeans, and because I am a bigger girl not everybody makes jeans my size. The stores that do cater to larger women usually have ugly, grandmaish clothes. And it is not like I need huge shirts, I wear a large, its the bottom of me that needs the bigger clothes. Anywho the stores that do have jeans my size have this idea that spandex in larger jeans to make them stretchy is somehow a good idea, because it "helps the jeans to fit your curves better" Okay, stretchy pants are not a good idea for big girls. First off they are uncomfortable and secondly they just don't look good.
So I have looked everywhere! I went to every place I could think of and was about to settle for just ordering some online from GAP. I was at Wal-Mart today to pick up a few things and I was walking through the clothes department and my mom asked if I had looked there for jeans. No, I hadn't. I never thought about it. So I looked and I tried a pair on and instantly fell in love. They are denim, not spandex, they look great, the make my but look good, and oh my goodness I absolutely love them! Why have I never looked there before?
We also went to staples to pick up some ink and some school supplies, by the way, if you didn't know notebooks are only 1 penny if you spend $5.00.
Then we went to Baskins. I love that place, but I seriously should refrain from going there. I ended up trying on about 7 pairs of boots and finally narrowed it down to 2 pairs, and then I had to force myself to only get one paid. I didn't know what pair to get. So I just closed my eyes and chose.
Aren't they beautiful? I just love them so much! Plus they were on sale! On sale is always a plus!
I am so tired out from shopping. Not tired of shopping, but tired from shopping! But I love everything I got!
